Our Vision
The Digital Health Education Task Force envisions a future where the osteopathic community leads in the thoughtful integration of digital health technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) into education and clinical practice. In partnership with key strategic collaborators, we are exploring how to cultivate technological proficiency and ethical responsibility that will support equitable, patient-centered care rooted in the principles of whole-person osteopathic medicine.
What We’re Exploring
Pioneering Strategies for Digital Health Integration: We are collaborating to imagine and develop comprehensive approaches that will empower future DOs to use AI and digital health tools safely and effectively.
Co-Creating Educational Frameworks: Working alongside our strategic partners, our task force is designing innovative learning models that align with osteopathic principles while advancing responsible technology adoption.
Defining Emerging Core Competencies: We are identifying the essential skills that will be required for digital health and AI integration in osteopathic education and practice as these fields evolve.
Building Faculty Development Pathways: We are exploring and developing training resources in collaboration with educational leaders to help medical educators prepare for and incorporate emerging technologies into their teaching.
